by Patrick Morlan
(San Hose Ca.)
class A TX driver from 1985-2008, I have driven tankers, flats, vans, doubles, triples, heavy haul through out the us, no accidents, speeding, dui's.
I stopped driving in 2008 due to divorce. at the time my daughter was 12 and I needed to be a father so I started an appliance business installing major appliances.
My daughter is in college now and I planned on driving again but having problems due to no drive time, no one will hire me with the huge gap since the last time I drove. I will drive anywhere hauling most anything. wknds, nites, hollidays, summer, winter, spring, fall. thank you. patricmorelan@yahoo.com

Response: Patrick hopefully someone will see the level of responsibility for taking care of your daughter as well as your ability adapt by starting the appliance business in order to maintain instead of only seeing that you were away from the road.
Also I will link to the story that you submitted which shows that your attitude is one that will help you to get along with folks (which should be a plus for anyone interested in hiring) even in difficult circumstances. You avoided what could have gone ugly by trying to be funny instead of being getting smart and it speaks volumes, we all should take note.
