Army Veteran wants to drive

by Richard Locke
(Lafayette, IN)

Getting ready to retire from the US Army after 22 total years of service. I have 4 plus years of driving experience in all weather conditions in many locations in the US (UP Michigan, Rocky Mountains, Chicago, San Francisco).

Pulled flatbed, van, 28' double flats and dump. Hauled generalized commodities, steel, pipes and HAZMAT loads.

This driving experience is from 1992-1996 during my break in service. I retire on May 23, 2010 and want to get back into the trucking industry.

I went to the BMV and obtained my Class A CDL with all endorsements. I have 3 years of college in Business Finance and still attending on-line courses to finish Bachelors.

I live in Indiana and looking for a company that would be willing to hire me with no recent experience. I prefer Midwest regional but have no issues driving northeast, NYC, Southeast or anything east of Rockies.

Please no consistent International loads, but willing to do once in a while. I am a hard worker and very safe driver(no accidents in a truck).

No criminal record and even have active DOD secret clearance. I am a can't miss employee. If you believe I can contribute positively to your organization, please call at 209-480-3226
