Amed (Mad-Dog)

Well i'm 23 years old and since i remember i love trucks and other heavy equipment, the thing is that my family doesn't have anything to do with the trucking industry and its been difficult for me because my father does know persons who have trucks or manage them but he says that i rather study something else cause he doesn't want me to be a frustrated person.

I decided to study foreign trade and im looking forward to complete a major and specialization in logistics. He's right in somethings but what i want is to become a trucker and own my company.

things are harder down here, we don't have the same regulations that you guys have in north america, down her are softer. That's why im looking forward to immigrate to the states to gain experience and help my country's trucking industry to have high standards like you guys do.

I also like the rush to be in the harbor to load a container, steel coil, bulk commodities or whatever, to travel across the country and meet new people.

Honor thy father. First honor God The Father, then thy earthly father and it will be a blessing in your latter years.

Amed has plans to change trucking in Colombia
by: Hervy

What a deal Amed (Mad Dog). Welcome to the website man. Hope you find plenty of useful information and a warm environment to learn.

Sounds like Colombia will be very fortunate to have an educated trucker to bring back some insight from the American Trucking industry.

Let's just hope you will be able to get some of the changes made.

Keep us informed on how your coming along man and put up a pic.

Later,
Hervy
