I went to and graduated from diesel driving academy which is in little rock but in the fall or 07. it was located in north little rock the school was a 20 week program.

i started out with crst but my little girl who is 4 now developed some health problems so i got off the truck i drove for a couple of oilfield companies but that is not what i want to do.

i would like to get my over the road experience. i would like to work even part time for a owner op the big companies want me to go back to driving school as if i never had a cdl i am not going to do that i spent 8000.00 on school the first time i am not going to spend another 2000 or 3000 thousand dollars. i will buy my own truck before i do that. i am capable of handling a truck i went thru a "20week boot camp" i am not going to do that again been there done that.

i know it is the insurance companies that dictate but if you went to a formal school and got your license you proved right then you can handle a truck yes i would be nervous a first getting back in the driver seat not only because you are driving around with 80,000 pounds but the shear knowledge of would could go wrong if that truck got away from you sooner or later it would or could happen.

I use my wife's email it is mommy4040@hotmail.com feel free to contact me i welcome all comments good or bad maybe there is someone out there in the same boat. maybe one day i can start a company that will hire people that is in the same spot provided the insurance will cover them but unfortunately that is the case
