So I hear all the bad about OTR ...so where is the good?

I have thought about getting back into trucking. I only did it for about a year local and never OTR. However I lived with my father over the road for a fews years back ing the 70's.

I do remember a lot of good things about trucking over the road. But if you look online now,It seems that there is alot of complaining about the industry. Has it gone that bad. Or is it just some burnt out drivers and thier spouses?

Any thoughts out there....
