maybe I am a little crazy!

maybe I am a little crazy!

I am 39 years old. Happily married for over 10 years to my amazing wife Monica. we have 4 children that I love and miss when I am on the road. They are the reason I do what I do.

I am very close to my family, even though we spend a lot of time apart. I have tried other things, but have always come back to trucking. It's what I do best and I have finally accepted that.

There are many ups and downs when it comes to trucking. It's not a job for everybody, but anybody can do it. I consider myself very lucky. I have a career that I love and a wife and children that love me for what I do.

My kids love wearing their "daddy's truck t-shirts" to school. They make sure everyone at school knows that their daddy is a truck driver.

My wife is very supportive of what I do. I have a total of 7 years experience driving in the last 12 years. I have now been out the last 2 years.

The best piece of advice I can give to anybody with a family coming into the trucking profession is communicate and do it often. Talk to your family as often as possible, and when you go home for your time off, spend it with them.

Do something special even if it's a picnic in the park.
