Tires Size Does Matter
by: The Crazy Trucker

Yes running 24.5 tires also called tall rubber, will give you better fuel mileage on highway.

If you're doing a lot of stopping and going, the 22.5 will give better fuel mileage.

As to how much, I don't really know. Maybe a seasoned mechanic can tell you.

Well guess what I'm sitting in Loves tires shop right now and they can't answer with specific difference in MPG.
