Northeastern states are the most dangerous states to manuver a truck in. People drive like idiots, the highways are fast and theres alot of em. I had a route recently going smack dab through New Jersey and not kidding I had to make 6 different highway changes in the matter of maybe 5 minutes and I think that may be an understatement. I think all 53 footers should stop in Pennslyvania and have 48's pick up the loads or box vans. Its just too dangerous but then again when has DOT ever done ANYTHING to our advantage. Point blank, try and stay outta them states up there, if you get routed in there, light up a cigarette, strap in, and put on some elevator music cause your about to blow your top. Its aggravating to say the least...enjoy.
