what rating of sleeping bag should i get to go over the road

i was wondering what rating of sleeping bag should i get to go over the road like a 20 degree bag or a 40 degree etc... some states have a no idle law so that means the truck is turned of so that sleeping bag better be the right rating to keep you warm or if truck might break down in the middle of no where in the winter time so this stuff it crutial to know thanks

hey there jimmy and jeff thanks for your input it was much of help i went ahead and bought a 0 degree bag and a few heavy blankets to add on if it gets colder than 0 but otherwise thanks again

My bag is rated at -40, combined with heavy comforters and sheets, Sleep tight. Hope this helps.
