What is the deal that CRST has for veterans

I was told that CRST credits vets 25% of total time served in the military toward driver experience, can some one educate me on the process

Vets get credit for time in service. Lets say you served 10 years Active Duty with a Non-Transportation related MOS then you would get 1/4 of your total months of service ( 10 x 12 / 4 = 30 months). That 30 months is what they will credit you for your start pay as opposed to .25cpm. Your also geared to signing up with CRST as an apprentice which is 12 months long but during that time you are receiving BAH along with mileage pay. Hope that helps. Contact a recruiter they will fill you on all you need to know.

I don't know much of on that. I can tell you is that CRST is a team only trucking company.but all the stories I have heard on about them and of read, wouldn't recommend them. If looking good companies they are kllm, Celadon, Jim Palmer which is owned by Wil-Trans (both small companies are owned by one guy and of are leased onto Prime), Prime, Schneider National.
