Iv been pondering on the fact of becoming a truck driver. With no previous "legal" otr experience. (exception- was when i worked for a company that delivered beds otr in 24' box truck.

i teamed and drove a hr or two so the other guy could rest n do paper work. i had no dot med card.) So anyway cdl training school is my next step.

Iv done A TON of researching on the internet and i must say this website IS A MUST for anyone with any kind of thoughts pertaining to a career in driving a big truck. I am so relieved that i stumbled upon lifeasatrucker.com There is more knowledge, personal experience, and true heart felt dedication on this website than any other website out there period.

I just want to give a BIG THANK YOU for your time and dedication to this. Im feeling more confident about making this career change as the more i continue to read and learn from your experiences, gestures, ideas, and just good ol plain honesty about the trucking life.
