Stoping to fish

I know the game is to get to point B on time but if you've put in your hours and you come across a nice river or lake have u ever stopped and spent a couple hours fishing?

Is that possible in a truckers life?

Man I cant tell you how many times I have been sitting at a truck stop and I damn well know I passed a little tank in walking distance and wished I had a dang rod and reel with me. Shoot theres even been times where I may have even spent the hundred bucks if they had em in the truck stop. Just remember you are gonna be stowing your life away in this truck. Im sure you could find a way to install a rod rack somewhere but until then I keep a ultra light on me at all times. Small and compact, not to mention the fact a 1 lb bass on the end of that thing feels like a 10 haha. Now im not saying this will be a every day thing you will get to fish but man when you park for the night and there is a tank near by you dont want to be without it. Good Luck to ya out there on the road and out at the lake

Fishing along the way.

Yes, you can do whatever you want if you have free time. Just remember, you need to babysit your load and be able to park an 18 wheeler, which is not always the easiest thing to do, right? Jimmy
