THANK YOU for the positive thoughts and encourgement. I am happy to say that I am back on the road doing what I love. So far, so good. It took me awhile to find something again, over a month, but I kept plugging at it. Again, I was upfront about my past conviction. I finally found a company that was more interested in my safety record, driving record, employment history, etc. than my felony conviction. So with the support of God,family, friends, and all the positive feedback I have recieved online, I'm back on my way to supporting my family, and I'm doing it in the industry that I truly love, TRUCKING!! Again thank you for the positive feedback.Be safe out there and keep it between the lines!! God Bless you and yours!!!

Dissapointment by: Hervy
Mickey, I know that must have been pretty disappointing man just when it seem that things were going well and someone pulls the plug.
You seem to understand though to keep at it and not give in. Other opportunities will come.
As far as PTL, I don't know if it is fair to say beware of PTL. Like you said that was a costly situation that occurred, I am sure the only let you go because they had to based on their insurance or something.
The guy that let you go forward probably thought that you would be okay until he talked to someone else with more authority.
As you know now a days people will sue for anything and companies do things proactively in many cases to keep from being vulnerable to suits.
say something happened involving you. The attorney for the other people will dig up anything they can and say what happened had something to do with your past, true or not and then the company has to defend hiring you and so forth.
So they probably went down that long list of what ifs and just decided not to take the risk.
I am sure something will come up for you if you keep looking the way you are doing.
How you and the fam are able to get some relief soon.
