Need Trucking That Will Hire Me With Misdemeanor

by Joseph
(VA)

I have a reckless driving on my record. The incident happened when in my personal vehicle, and before I graduated trucking school. Luckily after the hearing, I didn't lose my license. I was able to offset the demerit points, and put it back to a plus one, on my driving record.

The problem is, now I am stuck at a job, that doesn't support me in looking around for an opportunity. Instead, they want me to stay there. It seems most jobs have people who complain, spout out about money all the time, and try to get others fired--it gets tiring...

I have been looking around for something to allow me to get professional driving experience, since I graduated from trucking school, a few months ago. I am holding onto a Class A CDL, but with a misdemeanor on my record now. I am also limited for now, because of smoke and mirrors, and not many people around me being truckers.

I was told there are companies, that work with a record, with a, "case by case" with BOX trucks. Not sure where to start.

If you have pointers, and directions, or even opportunities, please contact the email below.

Need Trucking That Will Hire Me With Misdemeanor

Misdemeanor is a minor offense. There are few companies that would hold it against you (if it were not so recent or driving related).

So I agree with "Anonymous." You may have to dig into you piggy bank. And pay a lawyer to have it expunged.

Depending on where you reside, your local Department of Labor may be able to help...
