May Trucking NEW

My Husband has just become employed by May Trucking. Reading the above comment about office staff and DM's being idiots and rude is far from what he has told me. I read this comment to him over the cell phone and he said he has not met one person from the start who has been rude. They are very helpful and considerate and want to work with him to help in any way they can. He was with a trainer for over 3 weeks and he was extremely helpful and even when the wheels were not turning , spent most his time explaining many in's and out's of May Trucking, rule, safety and operations. Makes me wonder what some of these people are smoking! First and foremost.. "Attitude is everything!

I applied for an office position and I didn't get the job,after reading the reviews, I am glad I didn't! I can't and will not work for any uncaring company. They just don't get it!
You have to treat people with respect and value!! It makes for a much more harmonious workplace!! Remember we get what we settle for. TN

I have been driving 14 years, been with a few trucking co.s and May is the best I have ever worked for. If you sit for a load its because you dont do your pta or your job like you are supposed to. Learn how to drive and do your job and stop crying May is a very good place to work and if you don't like it here go work for swift

I am a mom a wife and a person, since my husband started working for May, I feel like I have become single without benefits. Thank you to my husbands driver manager for all the hours my husband has SAT waiting for a load, Thank you to my husbands driver manager for all the hours he has waited to get off loaded. I think if the driver managers only got paid if their drivers wheels were moving, they would be more motivated. Sit at your desk eat your snacks, lick your fingers and then go home to your family, if they have not already left you for being an idiot. I have read all about May Trucking online and spoke with several people that have worked for them. You hear the bad and you hear the good and you weigh them out. In everything I have read I do not believe this is how May Trucking is, I think they have a few bad seeds in places they should not be. I am a manager with the company I work for and yes I would believe what a DM said over a driver, why would I ever suspect my DM was not telling the truth. So my advise now to my husband is, over document Qualcom(sp) conversations. Make yourself clear as to what you are saying your DM said to you and clear what your response was back to him.
The society we are raising is zero accountability I say MAY TRUCKING let's hold that DM accountable for a change. Fat and sassy killed the car industry, now the sale people have to work to sale a car. The DM needs to have a pay scale check.

MY HUSBAND AND I CURRENTLY WORK FOR MAY TRUCKING. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED WORSE THAN WE HAVE BEEN AT MAY TRUCKING. MAY TRUCKING'S OFFICE STAFF DOESN'T LISTEN TO THEIR DRIVER'S, THEY WILL NOT ADMIT WHEN THEY ARE WRONG AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS POINTED THE FINGER AT AT THE DRIVER WHEN THEY HAVE MADE A MISTAKE. THEIR OFFICE STAFF FROM THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER TO THE SUPERVISOR OF THE DISPATCH DEPARTMENT IS CORRUPT. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT WORKING FOR MAY TRUCKING COMPANY, PLEASE THINK AGAIN! THEIR OFFICE STAFF IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND CONDICENDING TOWARD EVERY ONE OF THEIR DRIVERS. ON A 1 TO 10 SCALE, WE WOULD RATE THEM AS A BIG FAT 0!!!!
