I have 30 years of experience. As follows, 15 years concrete mixer driver for union company in No Cal, 3 years owner operator concrete mixer in L.A., Phoenix Az, Las Vegas NV, all of California. 7 years hauling gasoline for Chevron, 2 years vacuum truck local, flatbed, box for remaining. I have done Western states only. Class A END TN

Up to date med. I am coming out of semi retirement.

One way to start back is go through a temp service that hires CDL-A drivers. This way, you work for the temp service, not any trucking company. Can change trucking companies any time you want and not be a job hopper, because you're paid through the temp service, not the trucking commpany.

Another way is to apply directly to a trucking company.
Danny Herman Trucking is a good dry van company and trucks have Tripac APU. Terminal in Calexico,California and their freight lanes are south of I-40 which means NO northeast.

Dynamic Transit is a good reefer outfit and trucks have Tripac APU. I think they have a terminal in Ventura.

Freymiller is a good reefer outfit and trucks have Tripac APU.

Navajo Express trucks have APU and company has a drop yard or some type facility in Chino.
