About Us

Katie A.K.A. Ms Kitty

by Katie AKA Ms Kitty
(Charleston, SC)

First and foremost I am the wife of a 15 year trucker and the mother of 3 beautiful girls and 1 son ages 2, 6, 10, and 16.

Second I am a former driver myself. My husband and I both are currently in school me for my Bachelors in Science for Transportation and Logistics and my husband for his Associate in Science for Transportation and Logistics.

He attends online from his truck while I am a more formal student. We met while driving for the same company and our family including the kids revolves around trucks.

My oldest learned geography from an atlas and math from a log book being home schooled over the road with me.

My favorite day is when the truck backs up in the yard and most lonely is the day it pulls out. I have learned how to cope through hard times alone, but have few friends that understand my life and ask a lot of questions.

I am down to earth, but have a mean side esp. when I hear people degrading truck drivers. I love spending time at home, but miss the road myself.

Our family motto and song is from the country group Alabama "Roll on 18 Wheeler". I am open and if you want to know more about me just ask.
