I'm on safety hold because of my co-driver

The company that I am currently employed with has me on a safety hold because I was teaming with someone and they are investigating her but I am on the safety hold as well.

What does this mean as far as my CDL and can I quit with them and go work for another trucking company?

Is it the company that has me on safety hold or Motor Vehicle

I would ask the company that question. I would ask you why is he/she on safety hold and if it has anything to do with you.

If you have been implicated for being involved in an incident, I would say it could impact you depending on the outcome of the safety hold and whether they put something on your DAC.

If you have not been implicated but you simply can't drive because you are part of a team and your team member can't drive, I don't see why you can't team with someone else. I don't know how your company works or the details of your situation. So I am guessing.

The best thing to do is ask the company the questions that you have asked here.

Sounds like the company has you on hold. Don't know if you can leave.

I suggest that you ask Human Resources about it.

As far as getting hired by another trucking company, I think that depends on how long you have been driving and if what they are investigating you for is something that is going to be put on your DAC.

Fedex above the rules??

I've been on Doctors orders a little over 2 months now NO WORK medical reasons.. 2 days ago I was released and cleared ok to go back to work....
I drive for a contractor who is contracted to fedex ground out of the salt lake hub..

The fedex ground linehaul Mgr said I am on Safety hold but says he doesn't know why...nor does anyone else in the linehaul office. My employer says she doesn't have any idea or knowledge of it....

It's my understanding they AT LEAST have to tell me WHY I am on Safety hold...or any other kind of hold that keeps me from working...
Is this correct??
