I want to know if I wont get a job anymore after failing a drug test on my job

I was employed by the NYC dot & failed a pre-employment drug test.

Does that make it hard for me to get another truck driving job

Yes. The more time that has passed since this happened the better it is for you though.

Call trucking companies and get their response.

Your best bet would be to look for small or midsized trucking companies.

Keep your head up.

If you don't find anything, you might want to look at Aaron Sales delivery driver or something similar.

(don't know their policy or whatever) But they seem to be hiring all of the nation.
