hazmat license vs previous failed drug screening

While applying for hazmat licensing I came across with this question, "have you been fired for a failed drug screen?"

So my question now is do they reject me because of this? I did fail one about a year ago and lost my job because of it, but I quit right after it.

well I was in this company for just 2 weeks when it happened, I think I worked there for a month.
I never put them in my resume.
do you think is a good idea to lye on the question denying it when ever I take the test?

If you failed a dot drug screen you are in a bad spot. You said about a year ago. Companies are required to check all prior tests back 3 yrs. You have to sign a release form. Only way around it is 1- can you hide that employer? In other words, if you only were there a Very short time you may get by. I have. 2-Do they report to DAC? Once this Drug Clearinghouse is up and running, nobody will be able to hide anything.
