class a to e and then back.

I had a class a license in new York, but when I moved to florida, I opted to just get the class e (less expensive)
Is my class a still good if I wanted to start driving again?

Comments for class a to e and then back.

Regain cdl A in FL NEW
by: Anonymous

I went to DHSMV in 2015 expecting to test to regain class B cdl. I had driven armored car in 1995. I was pleased to learn that "my class A cdl is still on file." I returned with a medical with 2 yrs duration, and walked out with class A cdl with 10 yrs duration. Hope this helps, good luck.

call and ask NEW
by: Trucker's Girl in Florida

i live in florida and my boyfriend went through this a couple of years ago. he was told that his license had been suspended due to an overweight ticket in California. He went to Roadmaster and then found out that he only had to retake his exam and get a new medical card but you may want to check with the state of Florida, as your CDL might transfer over.
