Be Careful if you have to haul loads from Total Quality Logistics (TQL)

My Husband and I picked up one load last week and were sent to the next stop where we called the broker (TQL) and told then that the shipper was not only not ready for shipping but not open for the year yet . their reply was we know they are open we ship out of there every week so just sit and wait.

we contacted the shipper to call TQL and let them know that they where not open for the year yet . after being there for 6 hours and being told several time to sit and wait they finally figured out that some truckers do know what we are talking about .

so then we where set to load in another location . loading at 5 pm told that shipper that we thought we would be to heavy .the shipper sent us 6 miles to the nearest scale sure enough was over loaded.

when we got back to the shipper they had all went home not to return till the next day. after a long lay over and getting the load to legal weight and on the road made contact with the broker. the broker told me that he would be getting us some money for detention.

well there was no money for us so we sat for nothing . all i can say for this broker and firm that he works for is that they like a lot of other ones will screw you in the end will lie to you just to get there product to the buyers at any cost.

so to advise any one tha deals with the brokers at TQL if they promise you any thing make them put it in writing and fax it to you .
