49 years old. Married. 2 boys. My hobbies are

digital photography (beginner)and model
railroading (HO & N scale).I spent most of my career in the cabinet industry (sales)but when the economy went
"bottom side up" I was laid-off. After being unemployed
for about a year, feverishly looking for a job, I decided
to expand the horizon and get my CDL. I have been an
apparatus operator for a fire dept. for over 20 years,
operating all types of fire apparatus, which is exempt
from needing a CDL. I went to truck training school to
and earned my Class A CDL and have all endorsements
except passenger and school bus. I was hired by a trucking firm in Portland, Ore doing intermodal
operations such as hauling bare chassis to the rail
yard and picking up empty containers back to the
container yards.
