A Little Advice NEW
by: Julie

Nothing is easy at first, but I promise that it will get better with time. My boyfriends dad had a simple surgery go wrong and was in the ICU for 8 months. My boyfriend had to take over for him and pay his entire family's bills. He's been doing this for about a year now, and things are getting smoother. Just remember that when things get hard, having a pet around to curl up with makes a difference. Our kitten has given me more comfort than the people who really don't understand what it's like to have the person you love half way across the country all week. Also, when he's home do everything you can to cook at home. It really makes them feel better to be apart of the ordinary things like cooking and cleaning that we see as a chore. I wish you both the best of luck in your marriage. Don't forget the little things because sometimes those small details are the glue that holds strained relationships together.

We can't afford to work at a rinky dinky job like McDonalds. Getting experience in and then looking for something more local that we are both satisfied with is a lot better. Just looking ahead for the future and what we both deserve in life.
