Appreciate the website and all of your YouTube videos. they have been very helpful. I'm planning on achieving a class a cdl soon and possibly becoming an otr trucker.

I read that some companies have cameras on you in the truck. Is this true?

Cameras on the driver
by: Hervy

Thanks JC. As far as I know this is just something being tested by a few companies on a few units. I seriously doubt if a company hiring new drivers will put them in that unit at this point. (By the way it is pointed to on driver while driving only)

However, the only way to be sure is to ask the company that you decide you are interested in.

This is definitely not something that is being done industry wide. There would be an uproar.

There are companies with cameras in the cab that are pointed to the road but that isn't even most carriers at this point.

Relax JC. (At least for now)
